Job Description:
Yorktown Baptist Church is seeking a children’s pastor who longs to not only help children become growing followers of Christ, but to equip parents to understand and fulfill their role to be the primary spiritual equippers of their children.

Qualifications:

• Ability to cast and implement a clear vision for children’s ministry in line with church’s overall vision and mission
• Minimum of 3 years experience in children’s ministry
• Bachelor’s degree required; seminary degree preferred.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee all children’s ministries from ages birth through 5th grade, focusing primarily on elementary grades.
• Recruit and train volunteers
• Work closely with Student Pastor to develop a seamless transition from children’s ministry to student ministry
