Job Description:

Southbrook Church is a large, contemporary church located just outside of Charlotte, NC. Southbrook is looking for an associate worship pastor for its Monroe Campus. The Monroe campus is a new, satellite venue, which is less than one year old and meets in a permanent location. The Monroe campus currently has one weekend service with a weekly attendance of around 200 people. Southbrook is looking for someone with a church-planter’s heart, who can see the future potential, and build a great team. This person must be a dynamic, gifted worship leader who can musically accompany him/herself. This person will work closely with the campus pastor and report to the worship pastor at the main campus. Requirements:
• Proficient in the guitar or piano (guitar preferred).
• Excellent vocalist.
• High leadership and administration gifting.
• High level relational skills and possess a team-building spirit.
• Must be able to work with and lead staff and volunteers.
• Fluent in modern worship music.
• High computer skills and some technical experience in sound, video, and lighting.
• Demonstrates the ability to perform with minimum supervision

Responsibilities:
• Leads worship at Monroe campus for main weekend services.
• Attends all worship planning meetings.
• Plans weekend service at Monroe with campus pastor.
• Leads weekly rehearsals for the vocalists and band.
• Leads worship at main campus and for special events when needed.
• Researches new music constantly.
• Must be a representative and ambassador for the leadership at the campus.
• Spiritually lead and pastor the volunteers in the worship and production teams.
• Other ministry duties as assigned.
