Job Description:
The Music Ministry at Pole Creek provides opportunities for all ages. Our music ministry, with approximately 200 participants enrolled, encourages diversity and is represented by a wide range of musical styles.

The Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra. provide music for worship and present special performances throughout the year. In addition to major musicals at Christmas and Easter, the organizations present a "top ten" concert in October which is a highlight of the church year. The Choir is open to all adults, and the orchestra is open to all adults and students by audition.

The Praise Ringers, or Adult Handbell Choir, provides music for worship services and special events throughout the year. The ringers are frequent participants in regional and state handbell festivals.

The Preschool Choir is for children ages 3-5 with a primary focus in creating fun musical experieces for preschoolers. Highlights of each year are the choir's presentations at Christmas and on Mother's Day.

The Children's Choir is for children in grades 1-5 The choir presents musicals in the Fall and Spring, such as "Operation Christmas Child", and work independently to develop musical skills.

Pole Creek Baptist Church in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina is seeking a full time Associate Pastor of Music to join our ministry team. Position requires an accomplished musician with BA degree, experienced in both choral and instrumental leadership.
