Maspeth Bible Church located in Maspeth, New York is currently looking to fill the position for the CHILDREN’S / YOUTH MINISTRY.

* We are a small non denominational church in Queens looking for a mature christian with some children's/youth ministry experience to help with our large international community afterschool program.

* The program runs every Friday during the school year, and includes sports, games, crafts and a bible time.

* The person would work alongside our ministry team. They would help strategize and help plan some aspects our time as well as help strategize ways to increase our impact.

* They would also help give leadership to the youth helpers, and lead bible studies after Open Gym is over and help plan and lead teen events that could happen after Open Gym ends and even possibly on Saturdays in the future.

* They would be expected to help with the planning, set up and clean up, as well running some of the sporting events. Looking for someone with a heart for children/youth ministry.

* The person needs to agree with our conservative Statement of Belief and be available at a minimum for 1 to 5:30 pm. Fridays (Other hours are flexible), agree to a background check, have some youth/children’s ministry experience and training. The present position is 8 hours, but has the potential for more.

* Also open to someone looking for an internship or a position where someone can raise some of their own support or help find another part time position.
