Job Description:
First Baptist Church of Warrensburg, Missouri is currently seeking a Senior Pastor. Our church is committed to leading people to enjoy God, connect with others, and share their lives. We are seeking a Senior Pastor with a passion to communicate God’s truth in engaging ways, leadership skills to move our staff and congregation to where God desires us to be, a willingness to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in His life and ministry, and a heart to reach our community and beyond for Jesus Christ. Specifically, we desire someone who is theologically conservative, but can think “outside the box” in the methods we use to reach people. Theological education and pastoral experience preferred. A background in a Southern Baptist church is preferred, but not necessary. We value character, integrity, humility and teamwork, but above all, we place ultimate value on Love for Jesus.
