Collegiate Evangelism Strategist – Summit Baptist Association
Are you passionate about reaching people for Christ? Do you believe that the first step in leading people to Jesus is to BE Jesus to the people who need Him? Do you desire to reach and equip students to impact the world with the gospel? If so, you may be just the person God is calling to help us reach Kent State University and the University of Akron, as the collegiate evangelism strategist of the Summit Baptist Association.

You are:
• A vibrant relationship with Christ
• Self-motivated and personally driven, yet a true collaborator at heart
• Gifted with well-developed written and verbal communication skills
• Experienced in working with students
• A true lover of the college world and its diverse peoples and cultures
• A creative innovator and problem-solver
• Undaunted by the responsibility of building collegiate ministries from scratch
• Ready and charged to work with the culture and climate of Northeast Ohio
• A current member of a Southern Baptist church (for 2 years), and you affirm the 2000 Baptist Faith & Message

You will:
• Regularly engage college students with the gospel
• Recruit, train, and mobilize collegiate students to be highly missional Christ followers
• Develop students to become the next generation of leaders in Ohio and beyond
• Create and foster relational networks with students, campus educators and administrators, churches, and church leaders
• Design and expand a system of small groups that connect college campuses to local churches
• Collaborate with other collegiate specialists to deepen Kingdom impact in Ohio
• Serve as associate pastor of collegiate ministry at Broadman Baptist Church, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio
