Job Description:

Lawson Assembly of God Church is looking for an energetic, spiritually mature, and relationally gifted Youth Pastor to join our church staff. Lawson Assembly is a church of 250-300 located in Lawson, Missouri just 20 miles from the Kansas City metro area.

Lawson Assembly is a strong and vibrant church with good mix of families and people from a broad spectrum of ages. The church is Bible teaching Assemblies of God church with a passion for God and a compassion for people. Our Assembly is known for its exciting worship, friendly people, and powerful preaching. Our ministries reach out to a whole host of needs.

Our staff includes our Senior Pastor who has served the church for seven years, a Youth/Worship Pastor, an Associate Pastor, a Senior Adult Pastor, a secretary, and a bookkeeper. We have excellent facilities including a gym, and resources to support a vibrant and growing youth ministry.

This person will need strong relational skills, leadership abilities, spiritual maturity, and gifts that inspire spiritual growth and maturity in the lives of students. Ability to lead worship is preferred.

The compensation package for this position includes a very competitive salary, a 4 bedroom parsonage with a full basement, health insurance, vacation pay, FICA match (which is a ministerial Social Security match at 7 ½%), and a wonderful church family to be a part of.

Our Pastor Roger Cook, and his wife, Linda came to Lawson in August of 2002. Pastor Roger is a 1987 graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University, and a 1994 graduate of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with the Master of Divinity degree.
